Sorry to be the bearer of bad news: Ted Fenton passed away yesterday. RIP.

RIP Ted _ got to know him through this forum and a few drinks at The Black Lion in Plaistow over the years - unerrignlyy nattily dressed - usually a crisp Claret polo and brown brogues . ...I hope he went without pain.

Shit, that's really sad news, I thought it was strange he hadn't been on here of late.

I was fortunate enough to have met Steve many years ago and went to a game with him (Spurs at home) he was as you imagined him to be, i.e, a proper old skool Eastender and a gentleman.

Let's hope we get the win for him tonight.

Damn, awful news.
I was worried when he didn't respond on the weekend football thread, was hoping it was just the treatment that had him absent.

Came across as a lovely man. He was like the Daddy of WHU. He was kind to all.


He will be sorely missed on here.
